Le projet de Jardin St-Stan consistait en la construction d'un nouveau bâtiment abritant un marché et une station d'essence à St-Stanislas-de-Kostka, dans la région du Suroît. La caractéristique distinctive de cet immeuble est son cadre rigide en « A » en bois massif, qui permet de créer un vaste plafond cathédrale dans l'espace central de l'épicerie. À l'intérieur, ce concept structural met en valeur le bois du toit et offre une grande hauteur sous plafond. Le reste du bâtiment a été conçu avec une structure plus conventionnelle afin de réduire le coût total de l'ouvrage.
The Jardin St-Stan project involved the construction of a new building housing a market and a gas station in St-Stanislas-de-Kostka, in the Suroît region. The distinctive feature of this building is its rigid "A" frame made of solid wood, which creates a vast cathedral ceiling in the central space of the grocery store. Inside, this structural concept highlights the wooden roof and provides a large ceiling height. The rest of the building was designed with a more conventional structure to reduce the overall cost of the project.
